Our journey began with a realization: the old ways of concrete production were unsustainable and that concrete’s vulnerability to seawater exacerbates the plight of vulnerable coastal regions.
Years of research and development led us to a breakthrough – and a technology that is going to change the way the world builds – for good.
Recognizing the incredible promise of Partanna’s game-changing innovation, the Prime Minister of The Bahamas, Philip Davis, extended an invitation for Partanna to establish its headquarters in the Caribbean.
At COP27, we unveiled our ambitious vision to construct the world's inaugural carbon-negative community in The Bahamas.
Since then, some of the world’s most visionary developers have enthusiastically embraced our technology, and our now global company has begun delivering our products to customers worldwide.
Our Story
Partanna Global was founded by Sam Marshall and Rick Fox.
Sam, an award-winning architect behind some of Los Angeles’ most iconic developments, has witnessed first-hand the limitations of the construction process that can hinder the vision of developers.
In 2015, he enlisted a team of world-leading material scientists to help streamline the process. Through their research, they identified a new technique for producing building materials that were carbon negative over their lifecycle.
As a serial entrepreneur, Rick has built various business across different industries from the ground-up. He believes passionately in the power of enterprise to drive social impact.
Together, they founded Partanna Global, a company built on their shared passion for creating a better future for our planet.
